Who I work with and how I can help you

Turning 65 Soon

What you need to know before you turn 65

Medicare decisions made during your initial enrollment window are some of the most important of your life. I'll walk you through every option so you choose with confidence — not confusion. And if you're not yet taking Social Security, I'll make sure you know about your Part B premium obligation before it catches you off guard.

On Disability Under 65

How to get Medicare when you're under 65 on disability

If you've been receiving disability benefits for 24 months, you may qualify for Medicare right now. I'll help you understand exactly what you're entitled to and how to make the most of your benefits.

Military Retirees with TRICARE

How TRICARE for Life works with Medicare for military retirees

TRICARE for Life is one of the best benefits available to military retirees — but only if you set it up correctly with Medicare. I work with veterans and military retirees throughout Coastal Georgia, including the Fort Stewart community in Hinesville, to make sure they're getting every benefit they've earned. Some plans even put money back in your Social Security check.

Medicare Made Simple

The ABCs — and D — of Medicare, explained simply

Most people come to me completely overwhelmed. They've gotten their red, white, and blue Medicare card and have no idea what it covers. Here's the quick version — and I'm always happy to go deeper on a free call.

Part A

Hospital coverage — inpatient care, skilled nursing, hospice. Most people don't pay a premium for Part A.

Part B

Medical coverage — doctor visits, outpatient care, preventive services. Important: if you are not yet taking Social Security benefits, you are responsible for paying this premium yourself. Missing payments can cause you to lose your coverage entirely.

Part C

Medicare Advantage — private insurance plans that bundle Parts A, B, and often D into one plan, sometimes with extra benefits like dental, vision, and money back in your Social Security check.

Part D

Prescription drug coverage — helps cover the cost of medications. Available as a standalone plan or bundled into a Medicare Advantage plan.

Not sure which parts apply to you? That's exactly what I'm here for — call me and let's figure it out together.

The Medicare mistake that costs people every single month

If you're turning 65 but not yet taking your Social Security benefits — you are responsible for paying your own Part B premium directly to Medicare. Most people don't know this. When they miss payments, Medicare drops their coverage and they lose their Medicare Advantage plan entirely. I've seen this happen too many times to count. One quick conversation with me can make sure it never happens to you.

What I can help you with — and why it costs you nothing

How to choose the right Medicare Advantage plan

I compare plans from top carriers side by side so you understand exactly what you're getting — copays, networks, drug coverage, and any extra benefits — before you sign anything.

How to fill the gaps Medicare doesn't cover

Medicare doesn't pay for everything. Hospital indemnity and cancer policies can protect you from bills that add up fast. I'll help you decide if supplemental coverage makes sense for your situation.

How to get health insurance through the ACA Marketplace

Not yet on Medicare? I also help individuals and families find the right health insurance through the ACA Marketplace — and make sure you're not leaving any subsidies on the table.

Serving retired military throughout Coastal Georgia — including Fort Stewart veterans in Hinesville. TRICARE for Life recipients may qualify for money back in their Social Security check.

Questions I get asked all the time

If you're wondering about any of these — you're not alone. These are the questions I answer every single week.

If you are still working at 65 and have employer health coverage, you may be able to delay Medicare enrollment without penalty. However, the rules depend on your employer's size and your specific situation. Missing your enrollment window can result in permanent late penalties on your monthly premium. It is best to speak with a licensed Medicare advisor before making this decision.
